Seamus
🐷 Meet Seamus – The Adventurous & Adorable Explorer! 🐷
Seamus’ story began before he was even born—a tiny piglet with a tough start but a heart full of joy. His mother, a blind potbelly pig, was sadly dumped in a State Park, likely because she required special care. When FWC (Florida Fish & Wildlife) rescued her, they had no idea she was a few weeks pregnant. Once she arrived at another rescue, her caretakers quickly realized that she was expecting, and soon, she gave birth to a healthy litter of piglets, all of whom found safe and loving homes.
That’s where Seamus’ journey to The Sanctuary at Dunn Farms began. At just five pounds, he came to us as a tiny, wiggly baby in need of a forever home. From the very start, he was immediately welcomed by Walter Pig, and their instant bond became one of the sweetest friendships at the sanctuary. 💕🐷🐷
Now at three years old, Seamus is a lively, curious, and adventurous pig who loves trotting around the farm, making friends, and bringing joy to everyone he meets! His favorite pastimes include:
🌞 Napping under his favorite tree in the afternoon sun
🐴 Tagging along with his mini horse bestie, Gertie
🐷 Playing and snuggling with his pig brother, Walter
Seamus is proof that even the most unexpected beginnings can lead to the happiest endings. With his big personality, playful spirit, and love for his sanctuary friends, he continues to inspire us every day.
