Mick

🐐 Meet Mick – The New Year’s Baby with a Heart of Gold! 🎉

Mick’s journey started on a small family farm, where he was born on December 31, 2021—making him our very own New Year’s baby! 🎊 While he was bred into a herd raised for breeding and income, Mick was different. With his gentle, sensitive personality, he didn’t quite fit in and was often bullied and cast aside by the other goats.

Luckily, a friend heard about his story and knew he belonged somewhere special—a place where he would be loved for exactly who he is. When they suggested Mick might be a perfect fit for The Sanctuary at Dunn Farms, we didn’t hesitate. From the moment he arrived, he proved to be an absolute lovebug and has been snuggling his way into everyone’s hearts ever since. 💕

Mick is a Nubian Nigerian goat with a big personality and an even bigger heart. Weighing in at 85 pounds, he is completely convinced he’s a lap goat! 🐐😂 He adores carrots, hay, and peppermint candies, and his absolute favorite pastime? Being brushed and soaking up attention. If you’re anywhere near him, he’ll be right there nudging you for snuggles.

Mick may have once been considered a castaway, but here at the sanctuary, he’s nothing short of a star—a reminder that kindness, second chances, and a little bit of love can change everything.
